Equipment Staff Needed
The Markham Royals are looking to add to our Equipment Staff! The chosen applicant would collaborate with our current Equipment and bench staff to provide our players with all the tools they need to succeed on the ice. Must be proficient in skate sharpening, and being available to drive is a significant plus. Welcome to the official website of the Markham Royals Jr. A hockey club! Playing out of Markham Centennial Arena, the Royals enter their ninth season in Markham but carry over 50 years of hockey tradition as an organization.
For prospective players, the Royals offer a top-flight junior hockey experience, giving our athletes the time and opportunity needed to choose from many future pathways in the game. Across our history, we’ve been a part of the journey for dozens of minor-pro and professional players, including multiple active NHLers. For many, the Royals have been a stepping stone to major junior, or most frequently, over 200 players who have gone on to earn commitments in NCAA or USPORTS hockey. We’re an organization that values and develops determination, teamwork, positive attitudes and intelligence on and off the ice.
If you’re a fan of the game, particularly in the Markham area, the Royals provide an affordable yet still highly entertaining and competitive afternoon or evening at the rink.
