The Markham Royals announced today that the hockey club has acquired forward Owen Ibbotson from the North York Rangers.
Ibbotson, 19, played the previous two seasons with North York, producing 13 goals and 31 points across 82 games played, along with 154 penalty minutes.
The Toronto, Ontario native is a physical presence up front, and won a GTHL Championship with the Toronto Nationals in U18 2021/22.
The Royals will be sending the Rangers a Player Development Fee in return.
