The Royals begin their ninth regular season in Markham on September 9th against the Cobourg Cougars, but before that happens, there’s still a little bit of warmup hockey to be played!
With our Main Tryout Camp wrapping up on Sunday, the best of our invitees will join our main roster for a five-game set of exhibition games.
The Markham Royals’ preseason opener comes on Monday afternoon against the Mississauga Chargers. Rather than Mississauga’s usual venue, this game will be played at Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Puck drop will be at 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be practice days as training camp continues. On Thursday, the Royals head to Herb Carnegie Arena to take on the North York Rangers for another afternoon game – also to be played at 1:30 p.m.

The Royals return home to Markham Centennial Arena on Sunday afternoon for their second game against the Buzzers, dropping the puck at 3:30 p.m.
