The Markham Royals are pleased to welcome back Julian Mandarino, who was acquired from the Mississauga Chargers earlier this month!
Mandarino, 18, began the 2023/24 season with the Royals, earning five points in 19 games before being moved to Mississauga in a three-player trade last November. He scored his first career OJHL goal in Markham Blue on October 27th against the Aurora Tigers.
With the Chargers, Mandarino posted four goals and four assists in 31 games. Prior to his rookie OJHL Season, the Toronto native scored 20 goals and 43 points in 58 games with the Toronto Titans U18 AAA club, earning him a second-round selection in the U18 OHL Draft in 2023.
The Royals will be sending a Player Development Fee back to Mississauga.
