Galati Named OJHL Team East Head Coach

December 27, 2023, Mississauga, ON – The coaching and support staff for the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s 2023-24 All-Star Celebration presented by Dairy Farmers of Ontario has been announced.

The celebration is scheduled for January 12 and 13, 2024 in scenic Collingwood, Ont.

“As we get ready for another exciting All-Star Celebration weekend, we are happy to announce these fantastic coaches, athletic therapists and equipment managers who volunteer to help out with the event,” said Chris Vanstone, the OJHL’s Vice-President of Hockey Operations.

All-Star weekend begins with the OJHL Skills Competition on Friday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule will kick off with the OJHL Alumni Game at 10:30 a.m, followed by the Hudl-Instat OJHL Prospects Game at 1 p.m, which will feature the league’s top players born in 2006 and 2007.

The main attraction, the OJHL All-Star Game, will start at 5 p.m. and feature the top players from the 24-team league as selected by the league’s All Star selection process.

All net proceeds from the weekend events will go to the OJHL Foundation, which focuses on delivering the First Assist Program to aid players with mental health and life skills training.

More information on the event, including community events, rosters and the names of players taking part in the skills competition, will be released in the next two weeks.
